Description

Tolerates dry locations where irrigation is limited. Grows well on any well drained soils and can tolerate alkaline soils. Will not grow well in areas that are heavily irrigated like lawn areas.
Due to its slow growth rate and being tolerant of fairly hard pruning, makes it suitable for planting under or near power lines or where space is limited.
Distibution of Geijera parviflora is woodlands in semi arid areas of Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia.

Geijera parvifolia is a tall shrub or small tree which can reach up to 9 metres. This Australian native is a small symmetrical looking tree with a broad dense rounded crown, with attractive drooping grey foliage with white star shaped scented flowers that form in clusters from winter to spring. Will not flower if grown in shade and leaves will turn yellow.
